More about those in the New Year, I think. First I’d like to finish a few WIPs* and some gifts.
If you’re ever in the area, Harlingen is absolutely worth a visit. Please check out Atelier Swoop’s website (no web shop, brick-and-mortar only) for their opening hours. (In these uncertain times it may be best to contact them first to be on the safe side.) And there is a great website with loads of information about Harlingen here.**
Thanks for visiting Harlingen with me. Hope to see you again soon!
* WIP = Work In Progress
** As you’ll probably know by now, I’m not sponsored in any way. I only write about the things I write about because I think they are worth writing about.
Yarn and cake! It’s a dream come true! Thanks for taking us along.
A great combination, isn’t it? Glad you enjoyed it.
Lovely outing, as always.
I love Isager Alpaca 1, it is so soft and the colors are beautiful.
So far, I’ve only crocheted with the Alpaca 1. It’s a very soft and smooth thread and I’m looking forward to knitting with it. Thanks for joining me!
Wow, wow, wow. I loved the trip to Harlingen. Thanks so much for taking us along. What a beautiful day. I find the walkway for swimmers interesting – I have never seen anything like it before.
So glad you enjoyed it. Thank you!
Looks like a lovely day out. What’s not to love? Sun, sea, yarn, AND cake? How lovely!
I’m missing travel so much now so I really appreciate being able to tag along on yours.
You’re welcome to ‘tag along’ as often as you like! I’m glad you enjoy my modest outings (I wouldn’t go so far as to call them ‘travels’.)
More for my list: a trip to Harlingen to see the sea, stroll the town, shop at Swoop, and eat a slice of the cake with berries. Thank you for the virtual tour!
And here is something else to add: take the ferry from Harlingen to one of the islands.
I would love to! Thanks again!
